The series Wagner and Friends continues on Tuesdays 4 and 18 at 2.30pm focusing on the operas of the Ring Cycle with the themes of Nature in the Ring and The Power and Magic of the Ring. As usual there’ll also be music of friends and others associated with Wagner including Richard Strauss, Dvorák and Bruckner.

In New Horizons on Tuesday 11 at 10pm, a monthly series celebrates the centenary of the birth of Olivier Messiaen, with this program including From the Canyons to the Stars, scored for horn, piano, xylorimba, glockenspiel and orchestra.
