This album captures the magic of Horowitz’s art and communicates a palpable sense of occasion, his last public recital in Hamburg on 21 June 1987. He plays works by Schubert, Schumann, Chopin, Liszt and Mozart – the composers he held dearest in his later years.

Food and music are true companions. It’s not often that they get together in the music industry! This CD represents a unique collaboration between composer and pianist Elena Kats-Chernin, and celebrated chef, Kylie Kwong. The gentle style of the music suggested the title Slow Food and this music is for listening to over dinner. Recorded in Sydney’s City Recital Hall Angel Place, this CD presents Elena Kats-Chernin as performer of her own music.
