Saturday Night Live

Live and Local on Saturdays most often is a recording of concert or a recital, either recent or archival. We are delighted to bring you an actual live recital when singers from the Pacific Opera Company will entertain us with arias and duets. This company was formed to give performance experience to opera singers who have graduated but not yet found a permanent place in a professional opera company. The non-profit company produces one complete stage performance of an opera each year. Singers from the company made their debut on 2MBS-FM last year and it was such a success that we have invited them back for four recitals this year. The first will be on Saturday 17th at 8pm.
