Camille Maria Merčep

Since 2007 Camille has been a regular presenter on Sydney’s Fine Music station 2MBS-FM 102.5

She has been on the selection panels  for the Young Performer’s Awards and the Even Younger Performers  and as  a  Presenter  of the Youth Development Series of broadcasts, she has listened to and programmed many of the recordings made by 2MBS-FM, of  Finals and Semi-finals from the Sydney Eisteddfod

As a performer her experience encompasses the Operatic Stage, International concert platforms, Plays, Cabaret and Music Theatre.

Whilst in Europe she was a finalist in the Masterplayers' International Music and Conductors Competition held in Lugano. This resulted in a series of recitals in Italy, Switzerland and the UK.

She has been a Guest Artist with Opera Australia on several occasions and has also performed with a number of the smaller, fringe companies and Chamber orchestras in Australia and New Zealand.

 In 2001 she initiated the Candlelight Concerts Series which she ran for 5 years at the Garrison Church in the historic Rocks area of Sydney.

More recently she was invited to China as Guest Soloist with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, and The National Opera Orchestra of China, in Beijing. 

She is passionate about the power of the voice and has a successful teaching practice based on an holistic approach to voice production… The Whole Voice

She is currently the Music Director of the Club Marconi Italian Choir in Sydney
