We would be lost without our army of volunteers. However our small team of three full-time and two part-time staff members ensure the 2MBS-FM essentials are covered.

Liz feels very privileged to have been recently appointed GM. She grew up in Perth and undertook her tertiary studies at the beautiful University of WA. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) Liz commenced her career in the performing arts where she often felt her Psychology studies came in handy. In 1980, she and her husband Lyndon moved to Italy to live for some years which proved to be very productive in many ways including the arrival of their two daughters. On returning to Australia, Liz became the founding General Manager of Northern Rivers Performing Arts (NORPA), (1991–2007), which is a professional umbrella performing arts organisation in the Northern Rivers region of NSW. From 2008–10, Liz was the Alumni and Donor Relations Manager of Southern Cross University and since moving to Sydney she has held the positions of Development Manager at Sydney Youth Orchestras and Alumni & Friends Coordinator at the Sydney Conservatorium. Liz is a member of the Cancer Council NSW Central and Southern Sydney Advisory Committee and board member of Currency House. However for 2 year old Hugo, she is just a doting grandma!

Ildikó Dauda

Ildikó studied broadcast journalism at Charles Sturt University (B.A. Communication) and has been working as a freelance journalist and producer at SBS Radio over the last 15 years. Ildikó joined 2MBS-FM in 2003 and since then she has produced the on-air sponsorship campaigns, co-organised the annual Radiothons and the Up Close and Musical concert. Her marketing experience and business savvy has secured several important sponsorship deals at 2MBS-FM. From December 2006 Ildikó returned to journalism as the editor of Fine Music magazine and Fine Lines e-newsletter. Ildikó lives on a diet of books, Hungarian salami, prawns and lots of champagne. She likes organising people’s lives, including those of her three children (Lenke, Leo and Kilian).
