2012 WSOC – 2MBS-FM Young Composer Award

In association with the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra and Choir, APRA, 2MBS-FM is proud to support a new generation of Australian composers with the WSOC – 2MBS-FM Young Composer Award.

• Entries will not be accepted after Monday 2nd  April 2012

• All entrants must be born on or after the 1^st of January 1982.

• The selected entry will receive a cash prize of $3,000.00 (three thousand dollars).

• The APRA Encouragement Award will receive $500 without a performance

• The world premiere performance of the selected composition will take place on Friday 29th June, 2012 at 8pm with the Willoughby Symphony and Sunday 1st July 2012 at 2pm. .The premiere performance will be recorded by 2MBS-FM 102.5.
